How fantasy football points are scored

This calculator uses the most common ESPN and Yahoo style defaults: 1 point per 25 passing yards, 4 points per passing touchdown, −2 per interception, 1 point per 10 rushing or receiving yards, 6 points per rushing or receiving touchdown, 2 points per two-point conversion, and −2 per fumble lost.

Kickers earn 3 points for field goals up to 39 yards, 4 for 40–49 yards, 5 for 50+ yards, and 1 per extra point, minus 1 for each miss.

How to calculate fantasy points

Add up points for each stat. A quarterback with 300 passing yards (12 points), 2 passing touchdowns (8 points), and 1 interception (−2) scores 18 points. A running back with 100 rushing yards (10 points) and a touchdown (6 points) scores 16 in standard scoring, and each catch adds 1 more point in PPR.

Enter the box score numbers above to see the total, a breakdown by category, and how the score changes between standard, half-PPR, and PPR.

PPR vs half-PPR vs standard

Point-per-reception (PPR) leagues award 1 point for every catch, boosting slot receivers and pass-catching running backs. Half-PPR awards 0.5 per catch, and standard leagues award none. Switch formats above to see how the same stat line changes value, a quick way to settle start/sit debates.

NFL Fantasy Points Calculator FAQ

No. You type stats from a box score or your league site. Everything runs locally in your browser with no API key.

We follow common ESPN/Yahoo-style scoring: 1 point per 25 pass yards, 1 per 10 rush/rec yards, 4-point pass TDs, 6-point rush/rec TDs, −2 interceptions and fumbles, and kicker bonuses by distance.

Full PPR awards 1 fantasy point per reception. Half-PPR awards 0.5. Standard scoring gives 0 points per catch.

Yes. Switch player type to Kicker and enter field goals by distance bucket, extra points, and misses.

Maybe not. Bonuses, IDP, and custom tweaks vary. Use this for quick what-if math, then confirm with your league settings.

In standard scoring, 100 rushing or receiving yards is 10 points and a touchdown is 6, so 16 points. In PPR, add 1 point for each reception.

Multiply each stat by your league’s scoring: for example 1 point per 10 yards rushing or receiving, 4 per passing touchdown, 6 per rushing or receiving touchdown, and −2 per interception. Then add them up.

Most leagues, including ESPN and Yahoo defaults, award 4 points per passing touchdown. Some leagues use 6.
