iPhone HEIC Photos Won’t Open at Work? Convert to JPG Free
iPhones save photos as HEIC because the files are smaller and look sharp. That is great until you email your manager a screenshot of a whiteboard and they reply, “I cannot open this.” School portals and older Windows PCs still expect JPG or PNG.
You do not need to install random converters or pay for cloud storage. Tools N Go has a free HEIC to JPG tool with no signup.
When this shows up in real life
- Submitting ID or assignment photos to a university portal
- Attaching proof-of-delivery photos in a warehouse or driver job
- Sharing event photos with a team on Slack or Teams
- Uploading a profile picture to a company HR system
Step 1: Get the HEIC file off your phone
- AirDrop or cable-transfer to your laptop, or save from Files on iOS.
- If you already emailed it to yourself, download the attachment on the computer that needs JPG.
Step 2: Convert in the browser
- Go to HEIC to JPG.
- Upload the file and download the JPG result.
- Rename clearly, for example
delivery-photo-oct-2.jpg.
Step 3: Shrink if email still bounces
- Use the image compressor if the JPG is still over your company’s size limit.
- For documents, combine images into one PDF with JPG to PDF.
